Most of the world "archives" their photographs in shoe boxes.  Not bad, as far as it goes. Of course, if you've got a half-dozen or so shoe boxes full of pictures, it gets kind of unwieldy. Not very easy to share them, either.

*Depending on the size of your order, it may be burned to a DVD, 
unless you would prefer multiple CDs. This does not affect the price, unless additional 
copies are ordered.

 Advantage One will also upload your scans to a FREE Online Album that you can use for sharing your photos with friends and family. They (and you) may also use the online album for ordering copies of the photos, plus photo gifts, apparel and much more.

3x3 to 8x12 allowed 
(additional charge for larger and smaller prints)

Prints must be presented organized by size.

Only 3x3 to 8x12 size photos can be scanned for the Shoe Box price. Photos smaller than a 3x3 will be $2.50 each. Photos larger than 8x12 will be $15.00 each. The larger prints will add additional time to complete the order as well.

Please sort photos by size, making sure all of the images are facing the same direction.

Tape and other debris must be removed from the back of photos before scanning. 

Photos must be removed from albums or frames.

Photographic prints only please (no newspaper clippings, post cards, etc.) Note: most home printed ink jet prints do not scan well and the results may be unsatisfactory.

 Front and back scans are possible. Those prints must be grouped together, and they will count as two scans.

School photos, family portraits, or any other copyrighted photography WILL NOT be scanned unless a written copyright release is provided by photographer. The customer is responsible for obtaining the copyright release/s.

Shoe Box Photo Scans are for archiving purposes, only. Sorting photos by size makes it easier to scan the photos. Photos may not all be scanned in an upright position. Advantage One will not be responsible for rotating photos.
