BLURRED PICTURES?
- Fuzzy background and subject could be caused by: Camera
movement or a dirty lens.
- Fuzzy subject only could be caused by: Subject motion or
improper focusing.

|

|
CROSS STREAKS ON 35MM NEGATIVES?
- Darker bands across the width of 35mm film are usually caused by stress
when the film is wound in the wrong direction. Always turn the rewind knob in the
direction indicated by the arrow.
|
|

|
LIGHT STREAKS OR FOGGING?
- Load and unload film only in subdued light.
- Check to make sure camera back closes tightly.
- Make sure film is fully rewound before opening camera back.
|
|

|
NO PICTURE?
If frame numbers are visible on the
"blank" films, then both the film and processing were all right.
- Unexposed film accidentally sent in for processing.
- Camera shutter failed to open.
- Lens cap left on.
- Film failed to advance. Could be caused by improper loading. Make
sure both rows of holes are engaged in winding sprocket.

|

|
PARTIAL FLASH?
- Part of 35mm picture is properly exposed, the rest is dark. The flash is
not properly synchronized with the shutter speed, probably because the shutter speed
setting was too fast. Check camera manual for proper setting.
|
|

|
PICTURE TOO DARK?
(exposure
incorrect)
- Not enough light for simple camera.
- Wrong shutter speed, film speed, or lens opening. Check camera settings.
- Exposure meter not working. Check battery.
- Too far from subject for flash to give enough light.
- Electronic flash wasn't fully recharged.
|
|

|
PICTURE TOO LIGHT?
(exposure incorrect)
- Shutter speed too slow, wrong film speed or lens opening. Check camera
settings; if OK, camera may need service.
- Flash too close to subject. Check your camera or flash manual for proper
distances.
